Retest Policy
- All assignments and worksheet complete (staple and submit to Mr. Cheung on retest day)
- Retest is all Multiple choices. On a regular test there are usually MCs and written questions. The written portion is where you can get a lot of part marks by showing work. A retest, however, will only have multiple choice questions. The questions on a retest will have comparable level of difficulties as the original test without the option to receive part marks.
- The date of the retest is set by your teacher, it usually happens on the last Friday of each month.
- Your retest mark is your final mark even if you did worst than the first attempt. Even a good student will usually do worst on a retest considering the fact that there won't be any part marks given. That is why a good student will always aim for getting well prepared for the first test. The idea of giving up on a test and hoping that you will get lucky and do better next time does not apply here. Trust me on this when I say your chances of getting "Lucky" is extremely low.
